| Bio: | Finally writing something in my profile! Yay! Sooo ... my name is Christine and I'm 22 years old and currently working in a virology lab in Manhattan. Which is also where I live! (Manhattan, that is, not lab ... although I do kind of live in lab, come to think of it. *grin*) But I grew up in the Maryland/Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area. I am a "jack of all trades, master of none" type. I like to write, paint, sing ... and am constantly delving into new hobbies that strike my interest. During an LJ meme I did recently, I found this quote ... The whole secret of life is to be interested in one thing profoundly and in a thousand things well. ~Horace Walpole ... which pretty much sums up the way I live. :D I can also be very scatter-brained and ADD, and tend to start bajillions of projects without finishing any of them. Am trying to work on fixing that. :D I also tend to jump from obsession to obsession, but ever since watching Superman Returns last year, I've been pretty steadily obsessed with the DCU in all its incarnations. Primarily, I am a Superman fangirl all the way, but I also love Batman (and the rest of the Bat-family), the Justice League, Birds of Prey ... and am even starting to dip my toe into Marvel with Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane. This journal has, by chance, mostly become used for comicsy fangirling, which involves my fanfiction and fanart--some of which is SLASH! *insert red flashing light here* Which I know is definitely not for everyone. I keep all my slash posts labeled and hidden under LJ-cuts, though, so if you're just scrolling through my journal, you shouldn't be in any danger. *grin* Ummm ... and that's all I can think of for now.
